How to save a policy in e-warranty?

Enter the customer details, vehicle details and policy product details. After entering the product details you must press “save”. You are then shown a list of all the products on this policy. Eg. If you have a warranty and recovery, these are separate products and both need to be saved. When you are happy press “save as policy”.

How do I print a proposal / schedule?

After pressing “save as policy” the warranty is registered and can now be printed. Select “schedule” from the dropdown list. It takes a moment for the adobe reader to load. Press print on the adobe reader. (NB: you may wish to print 2 copies. There is a close button at the bottom of the page to press after you have finished printing. If you can’t see it, use your outer scroll bar to scroll down the page and you will see the “close” button)

How to modify a policy?

If you need to change the details of a policy, for example the customers address, or the start date of a policy, you can request a modification. Find the policy you wish to modify. Highlight it and press “open”. Press “req: modification” button. Make the amendments, then press “save”. Please note: this is only a request for a modification. This will have to be approved by MB&G before the schedule can be re printed.

How to cancel a policy?

If you need to cancel a policy within 14 days of entering a policy, you can request a cancellation. Find the policy, highlight it and click “open”. Press the “req: cancel” button. You will be asked if you are sure you wish to cancel. Click “yes”. Please note: this is only a request for a cancellation. This will have to be approved by MB&G.

How to find a policy / search for a policy?

Sometimes you may wish to search for a policy you have entered to check the policy details. There may be occasions where you wish to modify the policy or cancel it.
To find the policy from the home page click “policies”. In the quick search box type the policy number if you know it. You can also search by surname, vehicle registration, or VIN. Then press “search”. A list of policies that match the search criteria will be displayed below. Highlight the one you want, and then press open.
To search for polices entered between 2 dates, enter the 2 dates in the relevant boxes and then press “search”.

I have forgotten my password. What do I do?

Passwords are case sensitive, so make sure you enter you password exactly the same as when you first created your password. On the login screen there is a button that says “forgot password”. Make sure you enter your login correctly and then press “forgot password”. An email will be sent to you with your password.
